Our goal is to connect small farms with big markets. We source humanely raised animals from small farmers who don’t have extra time to spend on marketing. By working with small farmers, we can provide a varied selection of delicious and ethically raised meats from heritage breeds.
meet our founder
Simple Pastured Meats was founded by Jim Isbell, a third-generation farmer who owns and operates a small cattle farm in the Ozark hills. He is passionate about farming as a way to give his two children access to fresh, wholesome foods.
Drawing upon his farming experience and his “day job” in supply chain logistics, Jim conceived Simple Pastured Meats as a way to bring “big farm” marketing and distribution to small farm products. While he currently focuses on sourcing humanely raised beef and pork, he is actively looking for partners who specialize in pastured poultry.
